The increasing demands of the engineers of the CSE in the global job market need no explanation. The situation in the developing countries compared to the developed ones is identical. To keep pace with the advancement in the field of the CSE and to provide technical knowledge in this emerging branch, efforts are given both in the public and the private sectors to develop human resources in Bangladesh too.

The CSE education has gained an amazing growth as the technology is updated day by day. The need of the CSE education is also rising with its multifold nature. So, the opportunities to pursue academic program in this lucrative field are now not limited as were in the past.

The Department of CSE in the KSFLEC is the most promising one. The department was established in January, 2020 to make a connected effort towards achieving the goal to provide quality education at the bachelor level having the duration of four years. The courses in the program are designed to provide students a rigorous and comprehensive academic background on both the fundamental and the applied aspects.

The students of the CSE must not have only a sound basis in the fundamentals of the concerned engineering, but should have also awareness of English, law, economics and accounting. Hence, such courses are also included harmonically.

In the last two semesters, there will be arrangements for project/thesis work, seminars, study tour etc. Finally, the department serves the students actively who have set their aims to be competent graduates in the CSE.

The CSE is a profession focusing on the analyses, designing, development, manufacturing and maintenance of electrical equipment, electronic devices, ICT devices, automation, control systems, mechatronic technologies etc. So, they can choose careers in diverse fields:
