The KSFLEC
provides self-sufficient laboratories rich in instrument and other facilities
to run sectional/lab classes for different courses of the Departments of CSE and EEE
a) Computer Lab: The EEE Department is jointly
using two outstanding micro-computer labs with the CSE Department: Computer
Programming Lab (1st floor) and the Computer Network Lab (2nd
floor). These labs are networked with each other and provide students with
broadband internet facility. So, students can browse free of charge for
unlimited time from here using its any PC.
b) Electrical Machine Lab: In this lab (at
the ground floor) adequate number of equipment and machinery has already been
set-up. So, the lab is well equipped for the sessional/lab classes on
electrical machines. The EEE Department has further active plan to purchase
more machinery and equipment as per future needs.
c) Electrical Circuit Lab: The EEE
Department is also jointly using this lab (3rd floor) with the CSE
Department. It is a circuit lab enriched with modern equipment. The purpose of
the lab is to design various electrical and electronic circuits. It is also
used to study the behavioral traits of different electrical and electronic projects.
The lab has full-fledged two set-ups of equipment. So, two groups can carry on
their electrical and electronic experiments and projects simultaneously. And
each set-up includes modern oscilloscope, dc power supply, ac power supply,
signal generator, trainer board, high configured PCs etc. In addition, it has
sufficient number of all necessary electrical and electronic components
including ICs (digital and analog), resistors, capacitors, inductors,
transformers, variacs etc.
d)
Hardware Lab: This lab is also used by both the
Departments of EEE and CSE. It has a number of highly sophisticated modern
equipment such as oscilloscope, dc power supply, ac power supply, signal
generator, trainer board, high configured PCs, 5030 microprocessor kits,
digital IC testers, PCs etc. The lab has full-fledged five set-ups of
equipment. So, five groups can carry on their digital and interfacing
experiments and projects concurrently.

Other Labs:
Besides these core labs, students of CSE and EEE are to attend in two other
labs- Physics and Chemistry to perform experiments based
on those two courses. And those two labs (4th floor) have also been
developed with adequate tools, equipment, glassware, chemicals and other
physical facilities.
